Rates vary depending on your course (business / conversation / exam preparation) and whether it is for an individual or a group. Individual courses cost more as you receive personalised attention.

For groups (up to 8) it becomes cheaper the more people in the group. Naturally, if I travel to your location, I charge travel costs.

“How long is a piece of string”? This silly English idiom means ‘it could be any length at all’!

For in-company training, a course of 20-30 hours is ideal. For some lower levels, a follow up course is sometimes needed.

Some individuals find that a 20–30-hour course is sufficient to meet their goals whereas others find they want ongoing lessons to continue to improve and work towards fluency.

Lesson and course length is flexible and can be worked out with you during the intake.

An intake interview is done before starting a course in order to find out your current English level and also for us to discuss what you are interested in and what you need to learn.

Intakes cost between 20-25 Euro per person and take approximately 20-30 minutes. They can be done in-person (plus travel costs) or via Zoom or Skype.

For most training I will provide a personalised course book, or we will use a commercial textbook. We will also use online sites for classwork and homework so access to a computer is beneficial.

If Covid-19 has taught us anything it is that nearly everything can be done online!

Individual lessons can take place using Zoom, Teams, or Skype with communication and homework via email.

Group lessons can also be offered via Zoom or Teams. I have experience in making these lessons interactive and fun despite the ‘distance’.

For in-company training I will travel to your workplace. We would need a room with adequate space, desks, a whiteboard and, if possible, Audio-Visual facilities.

Individual lessons can take place at your workplace or possibly my or your home.
